With nearly two decades in advanced clinical practice, Dr. Taylor specializes in regional anesthesia, office-based anesthesia, orthognathic and maxillofacial procedures, and opioid-free regimens.
Dr. Taylor holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Samford University, a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He is nationally certified by the NBCRNA and maintains active licensure in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama, in addition to extensive certifications in Basic, Advanced Cardiac, and Pediatric Life Support and Medical Quality.
Dr. Taylor brings significant academic leadership, previously serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Director of Regional Anesthesia Rotations in the Ascension medical system. He has mentored junior faculty and contributed to curriculum development for advanced anesthesia education. His research and publications focus on goal-directed perioperative therapy, ultrasound-guided techniques, and innovations in anesthesia education, with recent articles in Perioperative Medicine and the AANA Journal.
A recipient of multiple clinical teaching awards, Dr. Taylor regularly presents at state and national anesthesia meetings and serves on professional committees. Dedicated to patient safety, interdisciplinary education, and advancing the provision of anesthesia in office-based and surgical settings, Dr. Taylor continues to influence best practices in anesthesia care on both clinical and academic fronts.

Meet Dr. Taylor: Beyond Anesthesiology
Outside of work, Dr. Taylor is an active husband and dad who enjoys spending time with his wife, Staci, and two children (Grayson and Chapel), especially outdoors in the Greenville area.
He is an avid cyclist and triathlete who trains for endurance events and enjoys traveling to and exploring tropical destinations with his family.
At home, he can often be found experimenting with new recipes on the grill or smoker and tending to the yard, blending his interest in good food, fitness, and time with family.
