From beginning to end, the entire staff made me feel at ease, and the process was simple. Everyone was extremely friendly. Dr. Kacy Wonder’s bedside manner is top-notch! I knew I was in good hands. Thank you, Dr. Wonder, and thank you to your team for making this highly anxious patient feel comfortable. Dr. Wonder even called in the evening to make sure I was doing well. Everyone in the office was wonderful! They were so helpful, patient, and professional. Dr. Wonder explained everything to prepare me for an upcoming procedure. All my questions were answered. I was a bit nervous at first, but everyone put me at ease, starting with the front desk ladies. This was a very positive experience!

Dr. Wonder and her team were amazing. I’m not a young man anymore, and I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted. I thought at my age (early 50s) it would have been a more difficult procedure, but the procedure went well, and here I am the day after surgery with almost no pain or swelling.

Dr. Wonder and the staff at the Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery are fantastic. Our son had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Davis two years ago. When it was our daughter’s time to have her wisdom teeth removed, Dr. Davis had retired. Dr. Davis was amazing, and good for him on retiring! What I will say is that he left the practice in the most amazing hands with Dr. Wonder. From our initial consult through post-surgery, all went smoothly. Dr. Wonder is brilliant, and I do not offer compliments lightly. Her intellectual knowledge, as evidenced by her thorough explanation of what to expect during and after surgery, was impressive and gave us extreme confidence. I appreciate that she is using best practices regarding updated post-surgery care (updated from 2 years ago with my son’s surgery). She was kind and genuine, bright and thorough, and I highly value that she communicated directly with my daughter, since she was the one receiving the care. Of course, Dr. Wonder addressed any question I had, but treated my daughter with respect and dignity, not like a “child”. She helped my daughter take ownership of her wisdom teeth extraction. Lastly, the care team was wonderful. My daughter had her nails done for her high school graduation, and we were concerned that this might be a problem due to the pulse oxygen monitor that goes on the finger during surgery. We stopped by their office to have them look at her manicured nails, and they were awesome. They did not make my daughter feel stupid for looking for guidance and reassurance. They were so kind, and it was obvious they were glad to help. Thankfully, we are done with wisdom teeth extractions, but highly recommend Dr. Wonder and her staff.
