Dr. Peter Franco is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon providing expert care in Charlotte, NC. He specializes in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and dentoalveolar surgery. Originally from New York, Dr. Franco earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Fordham University, where he was honored with the Rev. Robert D. Cloney, S.J. Memorial Award, presented annually to one outstanding graduating chemistry major.
He went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, graduating at the top of his class with numerous academic honors and scholarships. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the prestigious NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center program in New York City.
Following his residency, he completed a fellowship at Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery. Dr. Franco’s clinical interests include corrective jaw surgery and full mouth reconstruction. He is passionate about delivering result-driven care, helping patients regain comfort, function, and confidence.
