Dr. Mary Haigler is a board-certified orofacial pain specialist providing expert care in Greenville, SC. She specializes in conservative TMJ treatment, orofacial pain, and trigeminal nerve pain. Patients throughout South Carolina and beyond trust Dr. Haigler for her compassion and dedication to patient care.
Dr. Haigler was born and raised in South Carolina and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. After practicing general dentistry for several years, she recognized a need for specialized care in orofacial pain within the region.
Motivated to better serve her patients, she pursued advanced training in orofacial pain, completing a continuum at Louisiana State University’s School of Dentistry and earning a postdoctoral master’s degree in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
Her clinical interests include TMJ disorders, headaches, sleep-disordered breathing such as sleep apnea, and neuropathic pain conditions like trigeminal neuralgia.

Outside of work, Dr. Haigler enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
She is also passionate about education and has lectured at prominent conferences and institutions, including the American Dental Association Annual Meeting, the Academy of General Dentistry Annual Meeting, the Comprehensive Dentistry Program at the University of Florida, the Pankey Institute, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Annual Meeting, and numerous local study clubs.
