Biography

Dr. Roger Moreira is a highly experienced and internationally trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over two decades of experience. He trained for over 20 years, gaining knowledge that has shaped his expertise today. He finished his dental education at the top of his class and received special recognition as the most dedicated dental student in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery discipline.   

Originally from Brazil, Dr. Moreira began his career as a full-time faculty member, treating patients and training residents in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Moreira is committed to making a meaningful impact in his community and providing life-changing solutions to his patients, particularly in the treatment of TMJ disorders. Dr. Moreira brings a love for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery. This passion is evident not only in his patient care but also in his collaborative work with colleagues. He believes in the power of teamwork and continuous learning to provide the best outcomes for his patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Moreira enjoys spending time with his family and watching soccer games, a passion he carries from his Brazilian roots. He is also an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures, participating in 5K races, and listening to music.
