Originally from North Potomac, MD, Dr. Jennifer Van Hook obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Dr. Van Hook’s lifelong passion for working with her hands led her to discover her true calling in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery—a specialty that integrates medicine, dentistry, and surgery to address complex facial problems.

As the former Chief Resident in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Van Hook is committed to advancing her knowledge and skills in this specialized field. Her comprehensive training spans various areas, including outpatient anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, trauma management, TMJ surgery, and benign pathology. Through her expertise and holistic approach, she works to make a significant impact on her patient’s lives, improving their quality of life and restoring their self-assurance.
