Biography

Dr. Ploussard was born and raised in Southern California and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology at UC Berkeley. During her undergraduate studies she was a member of the Order of Omega honor society and the Golden Overtones A cappella group. She then attended the UCLA school of dentistry where she helped create the Dentatonix A cappella group, held many leadership positions, and was heavily involved in community service. While in dental school she was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and received several honors and awards for her academic achievements and volunteer efforts. Following dental school, she attended a general practice residency at the University of Washington and an oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at UCLA. She then completed her medical degree, general surgery internship, and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University.
