Brow Lift

Brow Lift

Eyebrow creases, forehead lines, and sagging brows are common reasons to receive a brow lift, also known as a forehead lift. Rejuvenating the upper third of the face with a brow lift creates that youthful and bright-eyed appearance many patients desire.

A brow lift is performed by making small incisions in the hairline. Using a specialized instrument called an endoscope, the tissues and muscles beneath the skin are lifted and repositioned. The incisions are then closed with sutures or staples.

Types of Anesthesia

There are three main choices for anesthesia:

A brow lift can be performed in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures, such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.

Following surgery, antibiotics may be prescribed. Some swelling and bruising may occur. After 1 week, sutures or skin staples are removed, and daily activities can be resumed. Your surgeon will provide detailed post-operative instructions to aid in your recovery and minimize the risk of complications.
