ONLINE MEDICAL CAREER FAIR FOR STUDENTS!

Carolinas Centers for Oral, Facial, Cosmetic & Dental Implant Surgery is proud to announce its 2021 Virtual Academic Advantage event designed for students in Charlotte and surrounding communities. This year’s medical career fair for students online event will take place on Tuesday, April 20, at 5:00 PM from the comfort of wherever you are! Middle school students, high school students, college students, and parents will receive insider knowledge about what it takes to get into an ideal college or medical school and how to have a successful career in healthcare.

Did you know that America is heading toward a doctor shortage? According to a 2018 study, there will be nearly 103,000 new openings for these positions and a shortage of 11,000 skilled professionals for these roles by 2025.

Things You’ll Learn:

  • When to start planning for a career in healthcare
  • Tips and tricks to prepare for college and medical school
  • A day in the life of a medical and dental professional
  • What to expect from a career in medicine
  • What it’s like to be an entrepreneur and a doctor

Students can expect to learn from these talented and respected medical professionals as well hear from a counselor about college admissions. Speakers will also be available for an extended question and answer session after the presentation.

SCHOLARSHIP*:

  • A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one student just for attending online!
